This Privacy Policy explains how Zoe Sharry (“I”, “me”, “my”) collects, uses and protects your personal information when you visit zoesharry.com.au (the “site”) or contact me through it. I operate this site as part of SEOzo, a division of L&Z Digital Pty Ltd, based in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. I handle personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).

What I collect

Information you provide

When you submit the contact form, I collect the details you enter: your name, email address, website URL, what you need help with, and your message. The form is provided by HubSpot and protected by Google reCAPTCHA, which helps prevent spam.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, this site collects some information automatically through cookies and similar technologies:

  • Google Analytics 4 (GA4) — usage statistics such as pages visited, time on site, approximate location (city level), and device and browser type. GA4 does not store full IP addresses.
  • Google Search Console — aggregated search data showing how people find this site in Google. This data does not identify individuals.
  • Microsoft Clarity — heatmaps and session replays that show how visitors interact with pages (clicks, scrolling and mouse movement) so I can improve the site. Clarity masks sensitive content, such as text typed into forms, by default.
  • HubSpot — cookies that support the contact form and, if you submit an enquiry, may associate it with your visits to this site.

How I use your information

  • To respond to your enquiry and work out whether and how I can help;
  • To provide and administer my consulting services if we work together;
  • To understand how the site is used and improve its content and performance;
  • To keep the site secure, including spam prevention via reCAPTCHA.

I do not sell personal information, and I will not add you to any mailing list without your consent.

Who I share it with

Personal information is shared only with the service providers that make this site and my practice work:

These providers may store data on servers located overseas, including in the United States. By using this site or submitting the form, you acknowledge that your information may be processed in those locations under each provider’s privacy policy and safeguards. I may also disclose personal information where required or authorised by law.

You can control or delete cookies at any time through your browser settings; the site will still work, though some analytics will not be recorded. You can also opt out of specific tools:

Security

This site is served over HTTPS, and access to enquiry data is limited to me and the service providers listed above. I take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, interference, loss and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, however, and I cannot guarantee absolute security.

How long I keep it

Enquiry records are kept for as long as needed to respond to you and, if we work together, for the duration of the engagement plus any period required for legal, accounting or record-keeping purposes. Analytics data is retained according to each provider’s retention settings (for GA4, 14 months).

Access, correction and complaints

You may request access to, or correction of, the personal information I hold about you at any time using the contact details below. I will respond within a reasonable period, usually 30 days.

If you believe I have breached the Australian Privacy Principles, please contact me first and give me the opportunity to resolve your concern. If you are not satisfied with my response, you can lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.
